I am passionate about helping people find more spaciousness, compassion, and ease in their life.

My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, discrete and complex trauma, family issues, relationships, life transitions, parenting, illness, grief, eating disorders, body image, OCD, sexuality, giftedness, attachment issues, shame and self-doubt, and the intersection of mental and physical health.

In my work, I use evidence-based modalities, such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My work is also informed by psychodynamic, humanistic, and family systems theory. In addition to my graduate studies, I have received additional training in trauma, DBT, ERP, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, eating disorders, and polyvagal theory.

I am a firm believer in the interconnected nature of our minds and bodies. I am a long time yoga practitioner and certified yoga instructor, with extensive training in mindfulness and mind-body techniques. As well, I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCH).

I welcome clients from all racial, cultural, religious, spiritual, and ethnic backgrounds, and am LGBTQ+ affirming.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the non-profit sector both domestically and abroad on health and mental health issues, working with diverse populations such as the elderly, adolescents, adults, and survivors of domestic violence.

Before my return to graduate school, I took a professional hiatus to have children (now adolescents). Born and raised in New York City, I moved to Atlanta in 2007, after having lived for years in California, Guatemala, England, Mexico, and Italy. I love to do yoga, run, cook, eat, travel, hike, bike, and spend time with family and friends, including my dog Miele.
